Our demonstrator at the December Holiday Meeting will be Lynn Morgan. Lynn will show pictures from her recent pastel trip to France and bring several of the finished pieces. The 10-day painting workshop was with Terri Ford, a California pastelist, in the Southwestern France countryside, near Puy L’Eveque, which is about 1½ hours from Toulouse. She stayed at Domaine du Haut Baran and painted in many of the small towns and villages near there. There were only 3 artists in the workshop – all pastelists. After the workshop, she took a train to Paris where she spent another 4 days.

While there, she attended the Opening Reception of the New Members’ Exhibit at the NAWA Gallery on Fifth Avenue. Her painting, “Market Day, Sarlat”, is in the exhibit and was done en plein air while on her trip to France.
